Co-Curricular Clubs

At The York School, the co curricular clubs program is as diverse as our student and staff’s interests. No two years are alike in terms of what is offered!

Different from student leadership, clubs are an informal way for students to engage in activities and topics that will nurture new skills and complement their academic development.

Clubs typically run at lunch hour and after school and are both staff and student led. Facilitating a club for Middle School peers provides student facilitators with an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership skills and ensures our programming reflects student interests and needs.
Some clubs that are available in the Middle School include:
  • Public Speaking
  • Debate
  • Current Events Club
  • Game Society
  • Jewish Culture Club
  • Maker/Programmer’s Club
  • Dance Team
  • Mandarin Club
  • Choir
  • Lego Club
