Service Learning

We foster global-mindedness and a sense of social responsibility by creating school wide and divisional service initiatives and opportunities.

Students build partnerships with different organizations and act as project managers for raising awareness about topics surrounding equity and accessibility as well as facilitate fundraising campaigns. We respond to issues emerging locally and globally with meaningful service learning opportunities.

In the Senior School, examples of service partnerships  are:
  • Ongoing partnerships with DramaWay, The Beverley School and The Special Olympics Organization
  • Annual Daily Bread Food Bank Drive
  • Annual Clothing Drive with New Circles
  • Themed Fundraisers (ex: Rainbow Railroad Bake Sale, Save a Child’s Heart Cookie Drive, Karma Coffee morning for Youth Mental Health services etc.)
  • Annual Terry Fox Walk/Run
  • Opportunities to partner with our Junior School through the Reading Buddies Program, Lunch Program and Aftercare Program support
  • Library Program support at TYS
  • And many more!
