On October 4th TYS Flag Football travelled to Crestwood Preparatory School for our first flag tournament of the year. Game one TYS student-athletes showed a lot of competitive play. Crestwood's first drive was a 12 play drive that led to a HUGE stop on 3rd down. Eventually Crestwood went up 7-0. However, a great catch by Rubin G 40 yard TOUCHDOWN. In the final, Crestwood went down the field and scored to take the game to a 13-6 final.
The second game we played Albert college. After a lot of adjustments on all three phases, big shout-outs to Julian J for some big time sacks and Teddy for some great rushing yards and touchdowns, Tyson making plays on both sides of the ball. First win of the season 20-13!
