Appleby College travelled to the York School to discover our Junior Varsity Basketball team poised to bring their best to the court. The TYS team struck early in the first quarter establishing a significant 24-8 lead. Josh G-S lead the team in scoring in the first with 10 points. In the second quarter, Miles N. landed a significant three point shot and Ryan W. and Lennon B-D o kept up the momentum with clean finishes. The Appleby team made strong surges in the second with a final push in the third quarter. Thanks to a full team effort and strong offensive from Robert B. Nathaniel C. and Aaron S., the TYS team continued to dominate the game. Miles N. tossed in two more 3 point shots in the fourth to secure the TYS team’s third win of the season. Coach Ben and Mr. Corsano are super impressed with the way the team is working as a unified powerhouse, refining strategies with each new game.
